Biblical Associations:

There are thousands of 'ones' in the Bible since one is a pronoun, too. I've selected some of what I thought were the more representative.

One as creation: Genesis 1:9And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. Genesis 2:21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh.
One as union: Genesis 2:24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Genesis 11:6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.
One as recognition of idividuals: Numbers 1:20 From the descendants of Reuben the firstborn son of Israel: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, one by one, according to the records of their clans and families.
One as an offering: Leviticus 23:19 Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering. Numbers 7:15 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old, for a burnt offering;
