For years Jezlynn Chambers has plied the pirate’s trade, her conduct finally matching her despicable reputation. It’s one thing to deserve condemnation, and another to let the Merchants Guild on Çiro hide their crimes behind her name.
LOSER'S GAME is an exceptionally well written space saga, a continuation of ROGUES RULE [released 6/2006] concerning the disgraced and dishonorably discharged Major Jezlynn Angelina Chambers from the Space Service Corps in 4573.1 SSC. Whatever happens, she has her six personalities to help her in her battle against organized crime and whoever is responsible for her missing crew members. It's a book you won't be able to put down.
Dishonored ex-Ranger, Major Jezlynn Chambers has been feloniously charged with being a deserter, a traitor, a mutineer, and an unsavory, despicable individual who seeks reprisal against the very special military forces that trained her. She seeks revenge against whoever is responsible for torturing, then selling her crewmembers into the hellish world of drugs and slavery.
She struggles with every aspect of her multi-faceted personalities to remember what really happened that fateful day onboard the "Constant". While fighting to reestablish her ruined reputation she dedicates her every action and resource to locating the other members of her crew. She strives to regain their freedom and she's willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that. Very fast paced, breathtaking with lots of action. Very entertaining reading.
Jezlynn Chambers hates being blamed for a crime she hasn't committed, so when her name is implied in a spree of crimes, she involves the enemy to try and catch the real culprits. What neither she nor any of the other five personalities that inhabit her body expect is to fall for the enigmatic Captain Krayne.
Loser's Game is an intriguing concept, and a story that I very much enjoyed reading.
